Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (hPMC)

MAISI ® Hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) is a non-ionic cellulose ether polymer based on cellulose. Cellulose is a natural polymer extracted from refined cotton linter and provided as a free flowing powder. Belonging to the cellulose ether group, HPMC is mainly used in building materials, such as tile adhesives and plasters, as rheological modifiers and water retaining agents.MaiSI® HPMC has good retention, thickening property, Stable chemical properties effectively resist alkali attack.

HPMC Solutions

Ceramics Tile Adhesive

MaiSi® Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose (HPMC) offer superior construction performance, high water retention, extended opening time, reduce cement hydration retardation and excellent slippage resistance.

Skim Coat / Wall Putty

MaiSI® Hydroxypropyl Methyl Cellulose can smooth the putty, MaiSI® HPMC in cement skim coat/wall putty as a thickening and water retention additive.

Detergents & Industrial Cleaner

MAISI l® hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) is non-ionic polymer with an excellent tolerance for dissolved Increase and stabilize foam, improve skin feel: Help your product foam densely and improve the experience of using.

Self-leveling Mortar

MAISI l® hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose can keep the liquidity and increase the water retention, make smooth surface of the self-leveling mortar and avoid cracks on the surface.

Cement Render & Plaster

Maisi® cellulose ether HPMC has good water retention, and helps the cement have full hydration. It can not only extend the open time, but also makes the materials smooth and easy to apply.

EIFS / ETICS Mortar

MaiSI® hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose (HPMC) leads to high sag resistance and long embedding time, which are the required key properties of EIFS and ETICS.

Gypsum Based Plaster

MaiSi® Cellulose ether HPMC give gypsum plastering mortar systems excellent water retention, it also can improve the rheological property of gypsum and make it have excellent anti sagging property and easy construction property

Ceramics Tile grout

MAISI l® hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose offer high water retention and excellent construction properties to improve adhesion, increase operating time and reduce peeling.
